Man who bought 200 Land Rover Defender finds buyers willing to pay exuberant prices

A man in England bought 200 Land Rover Defenders in 2015 and is now reportedly selling them for prices as high as $2,74,700, which is even more expensive than the current Defender model.
Charles Fawcett, the owner of Twisted Automotive, a company specialising in bespoke car models, is now seeing a surge in demand for his customised Land Rover Defenders. Enthusiasts are willing to pay thousands of dollars for these one-of-a-kind vehicles.
In 2015, Fawcett purchased 200 of the last production models of the Land Rover Defender, just before production ceased in 2016. Since then, he has been customising these Defenders to create unique, high-end vehicles.
Although new models of the Defender were introduced after 2019, the demand for Fawcett’s bespoke models continues to rise. People are still eager to pay a premium for these custom-made Defenders.
The Fawcett collection is known as “One of One,” as each vehicle is completely unique when customized by Twisted Automotive.
