Reliance Foundation founder Nita Ambani has announced that the Government of Maharashtra has approved the establishment of Reliance's Private University.
According to the vision unveiled at the Reliance Industries AGM, the upcoming permanent campus at Dronagiri will span 410 acres and house seven world-class schools, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies.
Building on the success of the Ulwe campus, the university will also feature a Research Park, Innovation and Incubation Park, Medicity, sports infrastructure, and arts districts aimed at fostering excellence in academics and research.
"The future of learning will be interdisciplinary, innovative, and globally connected," the Reliance Foundation said, adding that the new university will bring together world-class schools, advanced research, innovation hubs, sports facilities, a Medicity, and cultural spaces on a single campus.
