Infosys has announced a multi-year partnership with tennis star Carlos Alcaraz, appointing him as its Global Brand Ambassador, as per the company’s official press release.

The collaboration brings together the excellence of a world-class athlete and a leading technology company, highlighting a shared focus on performance, innovation, and consistency.

Alcaraz, a seven-time Grand Slam champion and the youngest player to achieve the World No 1 ranking in men’s tennis, is widely known for his relentless drive and competitive spirit values that align closely with Infosys’ approach to innovation and leadership.

As part of the partnership, Infosys will leverage its AI-first platform, Infosys Topaz, to work closely with Alcaraz and his coaching team. The initiative will focus on building AI-powered match analytics and personalized performance tools aimed at improving match preparation and in-game strategy.

The move reflects how modern tennis is increasingly driven by data and insights, where even the smallest margins can determine outcomes at the highest level.

The partnership will also extend beyond tennis through joint initiatives between Infosys and the Carlos Alcaraz Foundation. These efforts will focus on technology-driven social impact, promoting “tech-for-good” programs across communities.

Carlos Alcaraz, said, “I’m honored to partner with Infosys; a company I’ve followed closely and admired for how it is transforming tennis through technology. Innovations delivered by them are elevating the sport for everyone - players, coaches, and fans alike. At the highest level, it’s often the small details that make the biggest difference. I’m always looking for new ways to improve, and working with Infosys will give me the opportunity to leverage data and AI to gain deeper insights into my game and push my performance to new heights. Beyond the court, I’m also excited to collaborate with Infosys through my foundation, leveraging technology to make a meaningful impact in communities around the world.”

Infosys CMO Sumit Virmani stated that Alcaraz represents a fearless, new generation driven by excellence, adding that the partnership aims to redefine performance in tennis while inspiring progress beyond the sport.
