The ₹334 crore Jobat-Tanda Road railway section will be inaugurated as part of the programme.

The new connectivity is expected to improve transport facilities in tribal and remote areas of the region.

New DFC Sections to Be Dedicated

New sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor will be dedicated to the nation during the Vadodara programme.

These include the New Sanand (North)-Makarpura, New Umargam-New Safale and New Safale-New JNPT sections.

The new sections are expected to improve freight connectivity between Gujarat’s industrial areas and ports and the North-South freight corridor, supporting faster movement of goods.
