A celebratory procession turned violent in Vadodara's Raopura area on Saturday night after a fierce brawl broke out during a Ganesh Agaman Yatra near the historic Nyay Mandir landmark. Cellphone footage captured by bystanders and widely circulated on social media shows a group of seven to eight youths surrounding a young man and thrashing him brutally amidst the crowd.

Verbal Altercation Escalates Into Public Violence

The tension erupted as the religious procession was moving through Raopura with music and traditional fanfare. When the rally reached the Nyay Mandir precinct, a heated argument between a few young men rapidly spiralled into physical violence.

The viral video footage depicts the mob cornering the isolated youth and launching a series of physical blows. The sudden breakout of violence triggered brief panic and confusion among surrounding devotees before local onlookers managed to quell the clash within minutes.
