24 Trains Cancelled Between Ahmedabad, Bhuj and Gandhidham Due to Signalling Work

Western Railway has cancelled 24 train services and short-terminated several others on the Kutch route due to non-interlocking work and the commissioning of an automatic signalling system between Samakhiali, Vondh and Bhachau stations under the Ahmedabad Division.

The traffic block will remain in force from July 19 to August 5, affecting services to Bhuj and Gandhidham.

Several Trains Cancelled

Train Nos. 19405/19406 Palanpur-Gandhidham Express will remain cancelled from July 19 to August 4.

Other affected services include the 12965/12966 Kutch Express, 12959/12960 Bhuj Express, 22951/22952 Gandhidham Express, along with Special Train Nos. 09415/09416, 09037/09038, 09009/09010 and 09011/09012, which will remain cancelled on various dates during the block period.

Namo Bharat and Long-Distance Trains Short-Terminated

Train Nos. 94801/94802 Ahmedabad-Bhuj Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will not operate up to Bhuj between July 23 and August 4 and will instead terminate at Dhrangadhra.

Several long-distance trains will also be short-terminated instead of running to Bhuj or Gandhidham. These include:

• 20685/20686 Bengaluru-Gandhidham Express
• 16335/16336 Nagercoil-Gandhidham Express
• 20903/20904 AC Express
• 11091/11092 Pune-Bhuj Express
• 20935/20936 Indore-Gandhidham Express
• 14311/14312 and 14321/14322 Bareilly-Bhuj Express

These services will terminate at Ahmedabad, Chandlodia or Bhildi, depending on the schedule notified by the Railways.

Asarwa-Kanpur Special Extended

Meanwhile, Western Railway has extended the operation of the Asarwa-Kanpur Central Special in view of continued passenger demand.

Train Nos. 01905/01906 Asarwa-Kanpur Central Special, which connects Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, will now continue operating until September 1.
