The customer allegedly showed a transaction on his mobile phone, claiming the amount had been debited from his bank account, and insisted the problem was at the petrol pump's end.
An argument allegedly broke out between the customer and the staff before he left the premises.
About 15 minutes later, the customer allegedly returned with three other men on motorcycles, all carrying wooden sticks.
Owner, Employees Injured in Alleged Attack
According to the complaint, the group allegedly assaulted employees Anil Singh Rajawat and Vikash Singh Tomar while hurling abuses.
When Rajput intervened to stop the assault, he too was allegedly attacked. Police said one of the accused, identified as Rahul Naranbhai Desai, allegedly struck Anil Singh repeatedly on his hands and legs with a stick before turning on the petrol pump owner.
All three injured persons were shifted to Civil Hospital in a 108 ambulance for treatment.
Police Launch Hunt for Remaining Accused
The complainant identified one of the accused as Rahul Naranbhai Desai, a resident of Brahmin ni Chali, and told police he could identify the three other assailants if produced before him.
Shehrkotda Police have registered an FIR under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the remaining accused.
