As part of the ongoing drive, AMC Food Safety officials also inspected the canteens at Podar International School, Chandkheda, and Adani Vidya Mandir, Makarba. Food samples from the two premises were collected and sent for further testing.
Officials said the inspections are aimed at checking hygiene conditions, the quality of food served to students, proper storage of raw materials, expiry dates and compliance with mandatory food-safety licensing requirements.
The AMC said inspections would continue at other schools across the city and that action would be taken against establishments found violating food-safety norms.
