Rajput suffered serious injuries to his head, left eyebrow, the area below his right eye and other parts of his body. The driver allegedly fled the scene after the collision.

Police said Rajput was taken to Asarwa Civil Hospital in a 108 ambulance. However, doctors declared him dead at 10.20 pm on October 7.

According to the complaint, Prem Singh was unmarried and lived with his younger brother and their family in Chandlodiya. He had recently been working as a painter at an apartment near Jivandeep Circle in Thaltej, where he also stayed overnight.
The family has sought legal action against the unidentified driver, alleging rash and negligent driving and fleeing the scene after the fatal collision.
