Khokhar was subsequently taken to Sarkhej police station for further proceedings.

Police said the firearm had no visible writing or markings. It measured approximately 22 cm in length and had a 10-cm handle fitted with wooden grips. The pistol was valued at around ₹10,000.
A mobile phone worth ₹5,000 was also seized, taking the total value of the recovered items to ₹15,000.
Police said Khokhar was unable to produce any licence or permit authorising him to possess the firearm.
A case has been registered against him under relevant provisions of the Arms Act and the Gujarat Police Act. Further investigation is underway.
