According to the complaint, Vyas immediately dialled the 112 emergency helpline but left the court premises fearing for his safety. He later approached the police station around 7.30 pm to lodge a formal complaint.
Police said the complainant informed investigators that the alleged assault occurred during the hearing of a POCSO case registered against him in 2025, which is currently pending before the City Sessions Court.
Vyas further alleged that the dispute was also linked to an earlier financial transaction involving one of his friends. He claimed that Kashish and his associates had borrowed money that was never repaid, and the confrontation at the court was connected to that dispute.

The complainant has named his daughter, who was present during the alleged incident, as a witness, along with other persons present at the court premises.
Police have registered the case and begun an investigation. Investigators are expected to record witness statements, examine available CCTV footage from the court complex and verify the allegations made in the complaint.
