Bharadia was arrested on Sunday in connection with a chain-snatching case registered at Satellite police station under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
According to police, the LCB Zone-7 team, led by Police Sub-Inspector H.D. Vaghela, was patrolling the area when they received specific information about the suspect's alleged involvement in the case.
Acting on the tip-off, the team apprehended Bharadia and recovered a gold chain valued at ₹1.57 lakh. Police also seized an Activa scooter worth around ₹30,000, which was allegedly used during the offence.
The total value of the recovered property is ₹1.87 lakh, police said.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
