Jamaluddin worked at Kumar Cotton Company in Piplaj and lived behind Ruby Hotel on the Danilimda-Narol Road.

He had visited his son Khushnur Idrishi, who works at a textile unit in Danilimda, around 9 pm on September 30. He left for his room at around 9.15 pm.

The next day, Khushnur repeatedly called his father, but received no response. He then went out to search for him.

Vehicle Fled After Collision

During the search, Khushnur made enquiries near Ruby Hotel and learnt that Jamaluddin had been hit by an unidentified vehicle at around 10 pm the previous night.

The unidentified vehicle struck him and the driver fled from the spot after the collision.

K Division Traffic Police Begin Probe

Following the incident, Khushnur filed a complaint against the unidentified vehicle driver at the K Division Traffic Police Station.
