Four Arrested Over Spa Employee's Murder in Ahmedabad's Naroda; Main Accused on the Run

Four persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a spa employee at a wellness centre in Ahmedabad's Naroda area, while the alleged mastermind remains absconding, police said on Friday.

The incident took place on the night of August 5 at Krish Spa, located in the Vishala Empire building near Hanspura Circle, where the victim, identified as Dashrath, was allegedly assaulted by a group of five men.

Victim Allegedly Thrown From Building

According to police, the accused entered the spa and launched a brutal assault on Dashrath before allegedly throwing him from the building. He died at the scene after sustaining grievous injuries.

Naroda Police registered a murder case and launched an intensive investigation under the supervision of the Ahmedabad Police Commissioner, forming multiple teams to trace those involved.

Four Accused Arrested, Mastermind Absconding

Police have arrested Vishal Barot, Rohit alias Gabbar Rajput, Karan Keshaji and Kishan Chunara in connection with the case.

The alleged main accused, Paresh Vishwakarma, is absconding, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest him.

Minor Altercation Allegedly Led to Fatal Attack

Preliminary investigation suggests the murder was allegedly triggered by a minor altercation at the spa shortly before the incident.

Police said Vishal had visited the spa with two women, identified as Vaishnavi and Khushbu. During the visit, an argument reportedly broke out between the two women and Dashrath and another individual, Janakbhai.

Investigators suspect Vishal later conspired with his associates to avenge the altercation, culminating in the fatal attack later that night.

Probe Continues

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Atul Kumar Bansal said the investigation is continuing to establish the exact sequence of events and apprehend the remaining accused.

Police are also examining the role of everyone present at the spa before and during the incident.
