Elderly Woman’s Body Found Stuffed Inside Bag at Locked Ahmedabad Flat, Murder Suspected

Ahmedabad: A horrific discovery triggered widespread shock in the Khokhra area of Ahmedabad on Monday after police recovered the body of a 60-year-old woman stuffed inside a bag from a locked second-floor flat at Jivanraksha Apartments. Authorities identified the deceased as Laxmiben Dabhi and suspect she was murdered before her body was packed away inside the luggage.

The incident came to light after residents of the residential society noticed an unbearable foul smell emanating from the locked flat over the past few days. Suspecting something amiss, local residents alerted the police control room. A team from Khokhra police station rushed to the scene alongside Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) experts to conduct an emergency search.
