Class 12 Student Dies After Unidentified Vehicle Hits Her On Ahmedabad’s CTM Bridge

A 17-year-old Class 12 student died during treatment after an unidentified vehicle hit her on Ahmedabad’s CTM Bridge while she was travelling to collect a book.

Student Hit While Heading To CTM

Aditi Ravisingh Kushwaha, a resident of Vastral and a student of Bhavna School, had left home last Wednesday on a relative’s Activa scooter to collect a book from the CTM area.

Within about 25 minutes of leaving home, she was travelling across the CTM Bridge when an unidentified vehicle struck her, causing her to fall onto the road.

Aditi suffered serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to hospital for treatment. She later died while undergoing treatment.

I-Division Traffic Police Begin Probe

Following her death, the I-Division Traffic Police were informed and registered a case against the unidentified driver.

Police are examining CCTV footage from the area around the CTM Bridge to identify the vehicle and trace the driver.

The investigation is underway.

Three Others Die In Separate Road Accidents

In a separate incident, an unidentified person died after being hit by a rickshaw on the road from Astodia Darwaja towards the Gita Mandir ST Depot. The K-Division Traffic Police have registered a case and begun an investigation.

A 50-year-old man also died in an accident near the Vijay Park bus stand in Krishnanagar.

In another incident, 68-year-old Premchandbhai Parmar, a Kankaria resident, died while undergoing treatment after being hit by a rickshaw while crossing the road near the Kagdapith T-junction on the route towards Kankaria.
