Breaking News: Bomb Threat Email Targets Ahmedabad, Surat Courts Including Gujarat High Court

An email threatening to blow up courts in Ahmedabad and Surat, including the Gujarat High Court, triggered security checks and evacuation of court premises on Saturday.

The threat reportedly named several court complexes in Ahmedabad, including the Metropolitan Court at Ghee Kanta and the Lal Darwaja Sessions Court.

Police, Bomb Squad Conduct Searches

Following the threat, police teams, bomb disposal personnel and fire brigade officials rushed to the affected premises and began searches.

Court buildings were evacuated as a precautionary measure while security personnel conducted checks for any suspicious objects.

As of the latest information available, no suspicious object has been found during the searches.

Security Agencies Step Up Checks

The threat comes amid a series of bomb-threat messages targeting public institutions, including schools, colleges, courts and municipal establishments.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the origin of the email and are carrying out security checks at the locations named in the threat.
