Danilimda Accident: Dumper Runs Over 26-Year-Old Scooter Rider

Ayubalam Sheikh, 26, was killed after a dumper allegedly hit his Suzuki Burgman scooter from behind on the Khodiyarnagar–Pirana Road in Danilimda.

Sheikh worked at a restaurant in Ganesh Nagar and was on his way to purchase groceries and other supplies when the accident occurred.

According to the complaint, he was passing near Navjivan Auto Body shop in Gulab Nagar when a dumper travelling from Khodiyarnagar towards Pirana Road approached from behind at high speed and struck his scooter.

The impact threw Sheikh off his vehicle. The dumper's wheel ran over his head and face, killing him on the spot.

The driver abandoned the dumper at the accident site and fled. Police have registered a case against the driver and launched a search to trace him.

Sheikh's elder brother, Zuberalam Farukalam Sheikh, 30, who also works at Madina Restaurant in Gulab Nagar, filed the complaint.

Bhavsar Hostel Accident: Wrong-Side Motorcyclist Dies During Treatment

In a separate incident near Akshit Complex, close to the Bhavsar Hostel BRTS bus stop, a motorcyclist died after a head-on collision with another bike.

Hiteshbhai Bapulal Ahari, 23, who works at a paying guest hostel, was returning home from D-Mart in Ranip with his friend Nareshbhai Prakashbhai Koted when the accident took place.
