Activa Rider Clashes With Traffic PSI at Hatkeshwar Circle During Ganesh Visarjan Duty, Booked

An Activa rider allegedly clashed with a traffic PSI and obstructed police duty while officers were regulating traffic at Hatkeshwar Circle during Ganesh Visarjan arrangements on Friday night.

Khokhra police registered a case against 24-year-old Vastral resident and businessman Sandipbhai Parmar and started an investigation.

Heavy Traffic Jam at Hatkeshwar Circle

PSI R.R. Chaudhary of Khokhra Police Station was deployed for Ganesh Visarjan bandobast and patrolling along with police personnel from 2 pm on September 25.

At around 10.30 pm, heavy traffic congestion developed near Hatkeshwar Circle. PSI Chaudhary, Traffic PSI Valvi and other police personnel were regulating traffic and working to clear the road.

During the operation, police signalled an Activa rider to stop to prevent obstruction to traffic. The rider allegedly continued trying to move ahead.

What Happened

• The incident occurred around 10.30 pm during Ganesh Visarjan bandobast.
• Police personnel were deployed to manage congestion at Hatkeshwar Circle.
• The rider was identified as Sandipbhai Dineshbhai Parmar, 24, from Vastral.
• Khokhra police registered a case alleging obstruction of lawful police duty.

Police Take Action

According to the complaint, when police tried to stop the rider, he allegedly became agitated and argued with the police staff.

Personnel then stopped him and took him to the roadside for questioning, where his identity was established.

Police subsequently registered a case against Parmar for allegedly obstructing police personnel while they were carrying out their lawful duty. Further investigation is underway.
