According to the complaint, police received information that Barot was allegedly storing and selling ganja from his residence.

A police team formed a raiding party and reached the third floor of E-34 at Orchid Whitefield. Barot allegedly opened the door when the team arrived.

During the search, police allegedly found two shoulder bags placed on a bed. A black plastic bag inside one of them reportedly contained a brownish-green plant-based substance suspected to be ganja.

Empty plastic bags and five electric weighing scales were also allegedly recovered from the flat.
