The family alleged that Ansari continued contacting and approaching Komal despite her unwillingness to continue the relationship. They claimed that he would allegedly visit areas where the family lived and pressure the teenager to speak with him.
The family further alleged that after they shifted to Bhadreshwar Housing Society, the accused learned of their new residence and allegedly continued approaching Komal and pressuring her to communicate with him.
Earlier Missing Complaint
The family also referred to an incident in February 2026, when Komal had reportedly gone missing from home. According to the complaint, she was later brought back and dropped off by the same accused, following which the family had approached the police.
The family has alleged that the repeated pressure and harassment left the teenager distressed and contributed to her taking the extreme step.
Youth Detained, Probe Underway
The Airport Police have registered a case based on the father's complaint and detained Naseem alias Lallu Mansur Ahmed Ansari for questioning.
Police are recording statements from family members and other witnesses and examining the circumstances preceding the teenager's death. Investigators are also verifying the allegations regarding the accused's previous interactions with the girl and the earlier complaint mentioned by the family.
