He died during treatment on September 16. The minor rider also sustained injuries to his leg in the accident.
Deepak was the elder son of Vijaybhai Ratilal Salat, who works as a daily-wage labourer. He was studying in Class 9 at Sarvajanik School and attended tuition classes at Jai Bhavani Classes.
Complaint Filed After Funeral
Deepak's father has been undergoing treatment for mouth cancer for the past four months. The complaint was filed at the A Division Traffic Police Station after the family completed the teenager's last rites.
Police have registered a case against the 15-year-old Activa rider and started an investigation into the accident.
