Massive fire at Bhuj jail destroys 1,200 seized vehicles

A massive fire broke out in a compound of a jail in Bhuj near the Sarpat Naka on Tuesday. Over 1,200 vehicles seized by the police were destroyed in a fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. According to reports, the fumes from this fire were seen from a notable distance in nearby areas.

The fire could have damaged nearby primary schools, police stations, and residential areas but the heightened wall of jail prevented it from spreading.

Upon learning about the fire incident, a team of officials rushed to the scene and promptly began the investigation.
